What is chenille?
Chenille is made using chenille yarn, with short fibres arranged around a core. This creates its characteristic slightly fluffy surface and subtle sheen. The fabric has a pleasant feel and a warm appearance, making the duvet inviting to snuggle under on colder nights.

Washing instructions

To maximize the lifespan of your duvet, wash it at 40 °C and a spin speed of 800 rpm.
Washing regularly helps fight stains, dust mites, mould and bacteria. Air-dry the duvet or tumble dry it briefly, and make sure it is completely dry within 1 to 2 hours.

Check whether your washing machine is large enough for the duvet. Doesn't it fit? Then choose two smaller duvets.

Drying Instructions
Option 1: Air Drying
Hang the duvet in a well-ventilated spot and let it dry for 1 to 2 hours. This energy-efficient method helps reduce creases and keeps the filling fresh and airy.

Option 2: Tumble Drying
Use a short program at a low temperature. For the best result, take the duvet out of the dryer immediately after drying and gently fluff it up to restore its loft. Avoid over-drying, as too much heat can shorten the lifespan of the filling.

Warmth class

All Zelesta duvets have temperature-regulating filling, but they usually differ in thickness. We offer duvets for winter, summer, and year-round use, with different fill weights.

Heat classes 1–4 indicate how warm the duvet is: heat class 4 is the lightest and most suitable for summer, while heat class 1 is the warmest and ideal for winter.

Heat class 1
A heat class 1 duvet is the warmest option and is designed for strong winters and very cold nights. It provides maximum insulation and a cozy, enveloping feel, making it ideal for cold bedrooms or for sleepers who easily feel chilly at night. The duvet offers excellent warmth without compromising on comfort, making it a perfect choice for the coldest months of the year.
